Elizabeth Jane Hurley was an English actress, model and television personality who gained fame during the 90s, when she was Hugh Grant's girlfriend. Hurley was immediately noticed by the media during 1994, as Grant received worldwide recognition for the success of Four Weddings and a Funeral. Hurley accompanied Grant at the Los Angeles premiere of the movie wearing the Versace gown that was secured with gold safetypins. The relationship she has had in the company of Estee Lauder has been the major highlight of her career. Hurley received her modeling first contract in age 29, and she's employed to model Estee Lader's cosmetics since 1995. Vanessa Kensington was her most popular character as a character in Mike Myers hit spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me(1999). Hurley has been a model for and creates his own collection of beachwear. Perry's early attempts at fame in mainstream music were unsuccessful. Perry was signed to two different labels, and was later dropped from them prior to the release of any music. In 2007 however Capitol Records put out Perry's EP Ur So Gay which attracted modest attention for its cheerfully flippant title track. I kissed a Girl - an ode of sexual curiosity - was made available a few months later. It had a hard electro-pop sound and a strong stance. It quickly sparked debate as some critics accused it for promoting same-sex relations while others claimed that the sexually explicit scene the song depicted sparked the fantasies of males about female sexuality. But the mixture of polished and titillating melody made I Kissed a Girl become an instant hit in multiple countries powering the album sales of the Boys (2008). The album's 2nd single Hot N Cold also proving well-loved, the album which Perry wrote herself eventually registered greater than three million copies in the United States.
