Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and a former supermodel. The elegant beauty of Rene Marie is reflected throughout her career as a performer and actress. The model began her modeling career during the 1970s. Soon, she became one of the most sought-after models. In the early 1980s, she began taking acting classes and studied theater before appearing on theater stage of Los Angeles. Russo was first seen on screen in ABCs drama series Sable in 1987 as the character of Eden Kendell. In her debut film Major League two years after she played Tom Berengers romantic interest. Rose Namajunas has been one of UFC's most prominent female athletes. Her early days were spent as an amateur boxer that competed in regional events, before signing up with Invicta Fighting Championships. Then she became a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Her success in and out in the Octagon has made her a household brand since she became a member of the UFC. Namajunas is an Lithuanian born American, who was born on June 29, 1992 at Milwaukee Wisconsin. Rose was a basketball player and kickboxing as she grew up. Invicta Fighting Championships took her on her when she was 18 years old and she went on to win 2 fights via submission. It caught the attention to Dana White who signed her to be a part of the UFC the strawweight division in December 2014 at just 22. Rose has had highs & lows during her professional career. However, she's always won. In April, 2015 Rose fought Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale which she took by a technical knockout in less than three minutes in Round One which resulted in not only champion but getting the honor of being named Fighter Of The Night along with creating history within MMA as this fight marked first time ever that a woman competed for a championship title in any of the major promotions around the world . Namajunas continued to take home a number of other victories. She also defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, winning two Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
